Abraham’s obedience and faithfulness to the Lord was rewarded – his longed for son, Isaac, was born and preserved from sacrifice. Through Isaac, and all Abraham’s descendants, all the nations are blessed.
Five points or six?
You may have noticed that our stars have six points rather than the five-pointed star used by most sticker producers. The Star of David, a six-pointed star or hexagram, is an ancient symbol of the Jewish people and appears on the national flag of Israel. Biblical references to stars begin with the Genesis story of creation and include God’s promise to Abraham and the Star of Bethlehem which guided the magi to the newborn Christ.
